WebJun 27, 2011 · The performance of the TR3 was not an improvement over the TR2., in fact a case can be made that the TR3 cars were slightly slower than the TR2. As with the Triumph TR2, the TR3 was given a distinctive hood emblem. This emblem is shown below. Triumph TR3 Emblem The Triumph TR3 was actively rallied and raced by the Triumph factory. WebDec 15, 2024 · It is obvious that a row of L.T.D. fasteners need to be fitted at the rear, but I'm not sure what to do with the front section which (presumably) folds under the hood frame & attaches somewhere underneath to hold it there. WebApr 8, 2024 · The pins require that you drill a 3/8" hole in each inner fender, but the holes could be easily blanked off if you ever went back to the original Dzus fasteners. Photo #1 shows the original Dzus bracket removed, the 3/8" hole drilled, and the hood pin installed in the inner fender.
