Half-summoner builds end up having to try to split their gear, skill points, and devotions too many ways. If you go full-retaliation tank just keep in mind you might have a hard time getting enemies to focus on you rather than you friend if that's what you had in mind. Hard to beat fast-hitting offensive skills and ticking debuffs for pissing off GD enemies. #3.
