Webb27 apr. 2012 · Lunch on top of Max Patch and ended the day at Walnut Mtn shelter. Around 13 or so miles. Day 3 Lunch at Bluff Mtn summit and walked into Hot Springs around 5 p.m. or so. The good folks at Bluff Mountain Outfitters can shuttle you to DP Gap from Hot Springs so you can walk to your car.

Webb17 apr. 2013 · Standing Bear Hostel was a interesting stay. The people there were a unique bunch. We were able to get showers and set up our tent in a field. We also picked up some more food for the next couple of days to get us to Hot Springs. The First photo is the trail sign at Newfound Gap heading north.
