Also, the sharp intonation might be a sign that you need a new set of strings. Or, you need to lower the action. Lastly, maybe you’ve set your tuning machines way too tight. Webb10 juli 2007 · You should check that the string is in tune, and then play the twelfth fret harmonic (whilst plugged into a tuner). I ensure you this note will be sharp.
