Torque is often a more accurate way of comparing motors. WebAug 20, 2001 · I would not recommend a 5.9 Liter Cummins. The engine weighs over 1200 lbs and will produce too much torque for your frame. You will have to strengthen the frame and replace the drivelines because a Toyota tcase and axles will NOT handle the torque. I think this is a case of too much weight and too much torque for a little vehicle.
